2019 Cross Culture Concert & College Tour - Honolulu, Hawaii
In past years, our youth orchestra has very successfully performed at the beautiful and historical Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, as well as the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. In fact, the performances were so successful that they have been invited to participate in return performances in subsequent years. Last year, they successfully participated in our first a cross-cultural concert in Torrance, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. This year, however, they have the opportunity to participate in a cross-cultural concert in Honolulu. The purpose of the concert is to promote awareness of and embrace the similarities between different cultures through music. Obviously, the hard work and commitment through practice, and more practice, has paid off for this group of talented young students.
This Trip Will Include:
College Tour to University of Hawaii at Manoa
Iolani Palace and Bishop Museum
